XEV Mascots (IP) Design

In this project, I designed Demon YOYO, the official mascot for XEV, taking inspiration from the brand’s iconic electric vehicle YOYO — known for its devilish headlights and customizable side panels. These panels are part of X-pression, XEV’s product line that allows users to 3D-customize both the surface graphics and textures of the door panels.

To expand this concept into a character world, I created three companion characters, the D-Pals, each reflecting a different lifestyle and aesthetic. Together, Demon YOYO and the D-Pals embody YOYO’s mischievous personality and highlight the creative freedom of X-pression. The visual identity of the customizable patterns is branded as YOYOTD — a playful twist on “Outfit Of The Day,” emphasizing YOYO’s ability to match its owner’s mood and style.
